Hurry! Only6unit(s) left in stock!Kobayakawa is a game of bluffing and deduction. In this stylish new game from Jun Sasaki, components are kept at a minimum - there are only 15 cards, 32 tokens and the start player marker.
The rules are simple:
At the start each player is given 4 tokens. In addition 8 tokens are placed in the middle of the table. Spare tokens are set aside.
The deck is shuffled and each player is dealt one card face down, an additional card is dealt face up next to the deck (this card is called the Kobayakawa).
Each player takes a turn and either:
- Draws a card to their hand and discards one of their 2 hand cards face up in front of them.
Or
- Turns over the top card of the deck to replace the current Kobayakawa.After all players have taken their turns, each must decide if they want to stay in and 'fight' by betting a token.
All players that decided to fight reveal their card. The player that has the lowest value card adds the value of the current Kobayakawa to their own card. The player with the highest number (their own card; or their own card + the Kobayakawa) wins the round and they take all the tokens that players bet, plus a bonus token from the middle, they take the start player token for the next round.
On the 7th round (when only 2 tokens remain in the middle) the stakes and the bonus are doubled to 2 tokens.
After this 7th round the game ends and the player with the most tokens wins the game.
Example Round:
Kobayakawa: 8
Player A: 9
Player B: Pass
Player C: 15
Player D: 12Player C has the highest card value (15), but Player A is declared the winner as the results of the lowest card (9) and the Kobayakawa (8) is 17.
We have a 15 day refund policy on sealed or unused new products. The return must be accompanied by a receipt from our store. If a receipt cannot be provided store credit will be provided at the lowest sale price within the past 6 months.
Trading card game items such as booster packs or sealed boxes are not returnable unless they have not left our physical building.
Any and all tcg boxes are not guaranteed to be in perfect condition. All items we carry will have intact (but perhaps not perfect) shrink wrap, if originally produced with shrink wrap. If you are purchasing an item for a sealed collection or expect perfection, please do not shop with us. We will not accept your return and we don't want to deal with sending dozens of pictures so that you can inspect our products via email.
If an item is shipped and arrives damaged, an insurance claim will be filed and reimbursement will be passed on once the claim has been fulfilled
Any products that are bought used can only be returned if they are found to be defective or not as described when purchased. These items may be returned, but only before leaving the store. ''Near Mint (NM)'
Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

''Lightly Played (LP)'
Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

''Moderately Played (MP)'
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '

''Heavily Played (HP)'
Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '
