There’s a certain kind of fun that comes from not knowing what you’re about to get.
That’s the idea behind Fizban’s Fortune.
Each box holds a single oversized 35mm d20, sealed inside a miniature treasure chest. You don’t pick the die. You open it and find out which dragon you pulled.
A Dragon in Every Box
Every die in the collection is tied to a specific dragon inspired by Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons. That includes chromatic, metallic, and some rarer surprises mixed into the hoard.
The full lineup includes:
- 30+ unique oversized d20 designs
- 6 rarity tiers
- A wide mix of materials and finishes
Some pulls are more common. Some are harder to find. Part of the appeal is not knowing which one you’re about to land on.
Built from More Than One Material
One of the things that sets Fizban’s apart is the range of materials used across the collection.
Depending on what you pull, your die could be:
- Solid metal with a heavy, grounded roll
- Hollow metal with intricate internal structure
- Sharp-edge resin with clean edges and crisp faces
- Liquid core with movement sealed inside
- Gemstone with natural weight and a cool feel in hand
Trading, Collecting, and the Hoard
With multiple rarity tiers and a wide range of designs, Fizban’s naturally leans into collecting.
Some players will chase specific dragons.
Some will trade duplicates with friends.
Some will just open a few boxes and see what they end up with. There’s no single way to approach it.
Final Thoughts
Each die brings something different to the table - in look, in feel, and in how it rolls. Some will stand out right away. Others might grow on you after a few sessions.
That’s part of the fun.
If you’re ready to add a little uncertainty to your next roll, there’s a dragon waiting in the hoard.
